USD Carbon 4 review by FSKnews.pl

The good guys at FSKNews are back with another review, this time it’s the Carbon 4.

As you probably know, FSKnews is a site made with freeskating in mind, and Carbons are primarily designed for aggressive skating. I must say I never got a chance to skate carbon-fiber skate before so I was curious how such construction will behave during freeskating or powerblading.

Test setup was equipped with Kizer Advance frames and Undercover Powerblading wheels, 4x80mm of mixed hardness 86A and 88A. Whole skates are really light. That’s first thing I’ve noticed after I put these skates on. They are whole 400 grams lighter than my favorite setup I skate usually. There is also nice softboot feeling, as nothing is pressing on my foot from the top.

During freeskating in the city, this weight really made difference. Even when jumping on a box to lock a trick, I had feeling it is significantly easier. Two hours on skatepark with these on, are pure pleasure.

Check out what else they had to say about them here: http://freeskatenews.pl/showthread.php?tid=1358
